I thought this voice thread assignment was pretty interesting. At first I found myself feeling frustrated because uploading the pictures and voice recording took a while to process. However, once I was able to figure it out I think that this would be a fun activity for students to put together. I enjoyed how I was able to create my own story and use my own voice. I also liked how I could put together my own pictures or even draw them myself and upload them.
I think this tool can be very beneficial to use in a classroom. I think this project can be very entertaining and engaging. I think that students will get excited about coming up with their own story and creating their own pictures. I like how this voice thread activity allows the students have their own imagination and allows them to brainstorm topics to write about. Using voice threads and wiki pages makes projects more fun and engaging. I think this is a lot more fun than just writing a paper. With all of this being said, I am planning on teaching first grade so I am not sure if this is a task that they would use often but I can definitely see higher grades using this. I think this could be a good source for me as a teacher to engage my students. I could even make this a class project where we can all come up with a book or in small groups. Over all I am a big fan of this project and think it can be put to great use!
